Oceana Testing at ACEP’s Energy Technology Facility

Recently the Oceana turbine was stripped of its fins and placed into a tank where its electrical components will be tested in the coming weeks in ACEP’s Energy Technology Facility.  Soon the tank will be filled with water to keep the turbine cool while it is spun by the electric motor to simulate a varying river environment.
