ACEP’s Future Home: Thank You for Your Contributions

ACEP’s Future Home: Thank You for Your Contributions

Significant progress has been made in UAF’s initiative to raise funds for completion of the fourth floor of the new engineering building as a permanent home for ACEP. Over the past few months, we've raised more than $1 million towards our goal of $6.5 million, with gifts ranging in size from $100 to $500,000. Each dollar gets us one step further to a permanent space - a space designed specifically to facilitate our research partnerships with communities and industry, and support the interactive, multidisciplinary research that is ACEP's hallmark.  The ACEP team is immensely thankful to all of those who have contributed to this effort.

Specific organizational contributions we would like to highlight include:

  • Usibelli Coal Mine a longstanding supporter of UAF students, faculty and programs has contributed $500,000 toward the Initiative.
  • ConocoPhillips also made a $500,000 gift in support of ACEP.  ConocoPhillips is a consistent supporter of programs and students at UAF and across the UA System.

Private donations we wish to highlight include:

  • Craig Dorman - Craig has been a supporter of ACEP since it was formed in 2008, serving on our Advisory Council and providing insightful input in shaping ACEP's strategic direction.
  • Another donor, who requested to remain anonymous, made a $500 contribution.
