ACEP Affiliated Researcher Successfully defends Ph.D. Thesis

On May 26 ACEP affiliated researcher Vamshi Avadhanula successfully defended his Ph.D. thesis titled “Evaluation and Parametric Modeling of 50 kW Organic Rankine Cycle for Waste Heat Recovery from Rural Alaska Diesel Generator Power Plants.”  During his time with ACEP, Vamshi worked with Dr. Chuen-Sen Lin testing the Green Machine Organic Rankine Cycle generator, which was deployed in the UAF coal fired power plant and more recently in Tok, Alaska.

ACEP congratulates Vamshi on his successful defense and wishes him and his growing family the best of luck in all of their future endeavors.
