Lola Tilly Evacuatio
On Wednesday, November 18th ACEP, along with the other residents of the of the newly renovated Lola Tilly Commons, were able to put their emergency evacuation plans to the test when an electrical malfunction took place cutting the power to the building and engaging the fire alarm system. There was no fire, but the researchers and staff of the building were able to experience a refreshing stroll to their evacuation point in the -20F temperatures. An investigation into the cause of the power disruption is still underway and there have been no reports of damage to the building or its occupants.
ACEP would like to thank the first responders who responded to the fire alarm call including UAF’s Facilities Services personnel. We appreciate your hard work!
