Director of PSI Program to Review Safety Guide

Recently, Dr. Marc Mueller-Stoffels, Director of Power Systems Integration at ACEP was invited to review the DNV-GL Recommended Practice Guide on Safety, operation and performance of grid-connected energy storage systems.

The recommended practices guide is the result of DNV GL's GRIDSTOR joint-industry effort to formalize and unify standard practices for energy storage implementation.

DNV GL is an international certification body and classification society with main expertise in technical assessment, advisory, and risk management. It was created in 2013 as a result of a merger between two leading organizations in the field, Det Norske Veritas (Norway) and Germanischer Lloyd (Germany).
