Daisy Huang Visits Delta High School for Boiler Check

Last Friday, Daisy Huang went to visit the biomass chip-fired boiler at Delta High School to take combustion gas readings for efficiency and performance. She and USDA forester David Nicholls had already collected performance data from the boiler in deep winter, when the boiler was firing at its highest level. This spring time trip was used to gather data from the boiler when it is firing at a lower level. While there, she also collected the latest energy production data from the inline BTU meter.
