PSI Project Manager Presenting in Australia

Power Systems Integration Project and Data Manager, Heike Merkel, will be traveling to Tasmania, Australia this week to present at the Isolated Power System Connect 2016 Conference.

Heike will be highlighting the Cordova Electric Cooperative's Energy Storage Optimization Project Highlights. This ongoing project is exploring the potential for optimizing the generation mix in Cordova, Alaska. It will assess the technical and economic feasibility of adding an energy storage solution and demand response to reduce the use of diesel generation.
