Energy Lesson at ACEP HQ

Energy Lesson at ACEP HQ

This week ACEP played host to a group of 24 5th grade elementary school students for an energy lesson.

The students were on campus to tour multiple research centers including the UA Museum of the North as well as the UAF Large Animal Research Station. As part of their trip, they stopped in at ACEP’s headquarters at the Lola Tilly Commons for a brief lesson about different energy types and to participate in a wind turbine blade building exercise.

If you are an educator and are interested in hosting an ACEP researcher to lead an energy lesson, contact Max Frey at mefrey@alaska.edu for more information.
