Gwen Holdmann and George Roe will be among the panelists and presenters at the Arctic Circle Assembly to be held October 7th to 9th in Reykjavik, Iceland. Gwen will be discussing how local energy development can support sustainable business ecosystems, geothermal energy implications for remote towns in Alaska, and highlighting lab services offered by ACEP to help with the inte-gration and deployment of microgrid technology. George will provide an overview of the Arctic Remote Energy Networks Academy (ARENA) program.

Additionally, both Gwen and George will be joining other ARENA organizers for a planning workshop focusing on the 2017 pilot for the program.
