Extreme Events from Climate to Power Grids: Chapman Chair Lecture series

Power Systems Integration Program Director, Marc Mueller-Stoffels was a featured speaker on August 29th during the Chapman Chair Lecture series. The title of his lecture was "Power Systems Integration for High Penetration Renewables".

The lecture series was developed by renowned German mathematical physicist Jürgen Kurths is the current Sydney Chapman Endowed Chair of Physical Sciences. He developed the lecture schedule with an eye to interdisciplinary research and hopes that mathematicians, biologists, climate scientists, geoscientists, and scientists from many other disciplines will attend.

The series began Tuesday August 29th and continues through Friday, September 8th. The seminars are open to all levels from undergraduates to faculty.
