Fairbanksan Returns to her Roots as Joint ACEP-FNSB Intern

Tessa Weeden is returning to her hometown of Fairbanks for the summer between her sophomore and junior year at Carnegie Mellon University, where she is majoring in Civil and Biomedical Engineering.

As energy management intern, Weeden will work to improve energy efficiency for Fairbanks North Star Borough operations under a joint appointment with ACEP.

Weeden will use computer programming to analyze data from FNSB building automation systems to evaluate the performance of building heating and ventilations systems and identify targeted energy savings measures.
