Bathymetric Data Analysis Completed on Tanana River
Alaska Hydrokinetic Energy Research Center research engineer Paul Duvoy completed the post-processing of the bathymetric – or water depth - data acquired during the 2016 survey of the Tanana River at Nenana.
A previous bathymetric survey of the Tanana River Test Site was performed in 2010 by a third-party company. The data will be used to further assess the resources at the site and to better understand fluvial processes of the Tanana River. The bathymetric survey was the effort of AHERC research engineers Jack Schmid, Nick Konefal and Paul Duvoy.
