ACEP Engineers Presented at APA General Meeting

ACEP’s Mariko Shirazi, David Light, Jeremy Vandermeer and Ben Loeffler attended the 2018 Alaska Power Association conference Aug. 22-24 in Fairbanks. Mariko Shirazi presented on a panel along with Isaac Vanderburg from Launch Alaska and David Messier from Tanana Chiefs Conference. Vanderburg discussed Launch Alaska and past and current cohorts. Messier discussed energy challenges and projects in TCC communities. Shirazi discussed how Alaska can play a leading role in developing and demonstrating microgrids with high contribution from variable renewable energy sources.
