AHERC Attends Survey Training in Readiness for Summer Field Work

In preparation for the field season, Alaska Hydrokinetic Energy Research Center director Jeremy Kasper and research engineers Nick Konefal and Paul Duvoy attended a training for real-time kinematic global navigation satellite systems surveying training by Frontier Precision Inc.

AHERC will survey shorelines on Cannon Beach, near Yakutat, to help characterize the coastal erosion process as part of the Bureau of Ocean Energy Management’s wave energy converter study.
