ACEP Welcomes New Joint FNSB Intern Sherjeel Cheema

Through a partnership with ACEP, Sherjeel Cheema is working with the Fairbanks North Star Borough’s energy management engineer, Ben Loeffler.

Cheema is analyzing borough facilities’ energy systems at the site level. He found the position attractive because it allows him to see and learn methods of improving energy efficiency. He observed the benefits of system loss and loading analysis at his previous internship in the Distribution Engineering Department at Chugach Electric Association in Anchorage.

Cheema is currently a senior in the electrical engineering program at the College of Engineering and Mines.
