Whitney Guest Speaker at REAP Energy Event

ACEP faculty member Erin Whitney will discuss the growth of solar power in Alaska and its impact on the Railbelt region's net metering cap Nov. 7 in Anchorage.

The public forum, part of the Renewable Energy Alaska Project's Energy Speaker Series, will start at 5 p.m. at the Anchorage Museum.

The event will also feature Sean Skaling, who manages sustainable program development at Chugach Electric Association, and Stephen Trimble, founder and CEO of Arctic Solar Ventures.
