Training to Improve Hydrokinetic Data Collection and Processing

Sandpoint Hydrographic recently provided ACEP hydrokinetic researchers a comprehensive onsite training for multibeam sonar and global navigation satellite system data.
The training covered sonar and GNSS data acquisition software, processing software, and sonar and multibeam data collection hardware.

The training, attended by Pacific Marine Energy Center’s Baxter Bond, Emily Browning, Paul Duvoy, Stephanie Jump, Ben Loeffler, Tawna Morgan and Taylor Poirrier, will be useful in their future fieldwork and sonar buoy deployments.
