ACEP Researcher Featured in International Podcast

ACEP research engineer Michelle Wilber was a guest on a new podcast, “Jive Talking,” hosted by Netherlands’ Leiden University College economics professor David Zetland. “Jive Talking” is billed as a podcast for long discussions on complex topics.

In this episode, Wilber and Zetland chat about energy in Alaska, with a focus on the technical problems and some solutions to integrating renewable energy in rural Alaska.

The discussion ranged from the grid-bridging system Wilber worked on for an ACEP/Alaska Village Electric Cooperative internship to the high cost of energy in the state to general thoughts on living sustainably in the Far North.
