National Labs Provide Research Opportunities for Graduate Students
The U.S. Department of Energy's Office of Science Graduate Student Research has supplemental awards available to graduate students to spend three to 12 consecutive
months conducting part of their graduate thesis or doctoral/dissertation research
at a DOE lab in collaboration with a DOE laboratory scientist.
The SCGSR programs help prepare graduate students for science, technology, engineering,
or mathematics careers critically important to the DOE Office of Science mission.
Award benefits include, in addition to a great opportunity, reimbursable travel expenses
and up to $3,000 a month in general living expenses.
Applications are due Nov. 14. Visit https://science.osti.gov/wdts/scgsr for more information and contact the department directly at sc.scgsr@science.doe.gov.
