ACEP Welcomes Colleen O’Neill to the Team
ACEP is excited to welcome Colleen O’Neill to the team. O’Neill will be the new purchasing and travel coordinator starting Aug. 24. She most recently was a site administrator at Pogo, Interior Alaska’s largest underground gold mine.
O’Neill’s past employment includes auditing and cost analysis at UA statewide, and high touch customer experience roles in Denali Park tourism. She earned a second degree in accounting from UAF while raising four daughters with her husband Rory. The employee tuition waiver benefit will help fund the fourth UA degree for her family (Cloda, UAA class of 2022).
Colleen is excited to serve ACEP from home, with a view of her newly established tomato and herb garden, or from the Engineering Learning and Innovation Facility on campus. Quarantining over the last few months has allowed for increased family time, much overdue home improvements, and collecting bumper crops of blueberries, highbush cranberries and morel mushrooms.
