Colt Testifies at House Committee on Energy
“People will become an even more important grid resource acting as consumers, producers, buyers, sellers and stewards of electric energy,” said ACEP’s Steve Colt during testimony before the Alaska State Legislature’s House Committee on Energy on Aug. 14, 2020.
Colt’s topic was Senate Bill 123, which proposes a variety of regulatory changes for electric and telephone utilities. During the hearing, titled “Opportunities for Alaska,” Colt discussed ideas for conducting integrated resource planning and introduced experts from the Regulatory Assistance Project.
RAP experts David Farnsworth and Michael Hogan were invited by ACEP to participate. They presented their own testimony.
