Meet Our New Deputy Director for Operations

ACEP welcomes Jennifer Harris as the new deputy director of operations.  Harris comes to us from her most recent position as the executive officer in the College of Fisheries and Ocean Sciences. In her new position, Jennifer will provide oversight of the daily operations, including supervision and management of financial, human resources and administrative activities associated with ACEP. She brings a strong ethos of leadership and empowerment.

She has been teaching as an adjunct professor in the applied business and allied health programs at the UAF Community and Technical College since 2013 and is a member of the UAF Process Improvement and Training Crew. She has served in various administrative and finance positions at UAF and the University of Alaska over the past 18 years. Jennifer and her husband Thomas are raising their three children and three dogs in a home they built in Two Rivers, and are significantly outnumbered.
