Idaho National Lab Seeking Graduates for Fellowships and Internships

Idaho National Lab Seeking Graduates for Fellowships and Internships

Idaho National Laboratory has announced two graduate fellowship openings for 2020.

One is a fellowship awarded to Ph.D. students with interest in advancing nuclear energy and clean energy deployment. The other is specific to national and homeland security research and is for Ph.D. students or students pursuing a master’s degree in cybersecurity.

The INL Graduate Fellowship program is designed to identify exceptional talent in research areas aligned with INL's strategic agenda to enable the current and future mission of the INL. The program, a collaboration between INL and universities, provides mentoring and financial support for outstanding students who plan to enroll in graduate degree programs.

Fellowship applicants are invited to apply online through http://inl.gov/careers job posting numbers 14123 and 14124. The postings will close Feb. 15, 2020. Selections will be announced in May 2020. Letters of recommendation can be emailed directly to sierra.cottle@inl.gov.

INL internship postings are also now open at http://inl.gov/careers, and INL invites any interested students to apply. These postings will remain open until spring, but INL encourages students to apply early. For internship questions please email internships@inl.gov.
