Wilber Discusses Solar Power and Energy Resilience on iHeart Radio

Residential solar power can provide a cost-effective resource for grid-tied homes. A battery energy storage system in an off-grid home (or a grid-tied home) can be a reliable energy resource for daily use or to ride out a power disturbance that affects the main power grid.

This was just one topic discussed by ACEP research engineer Michelle Wilber on The Morning Show hosted by 970 KFBX Fairbanks.

Other topics included the cost of solar panels and research going on around the state.  Listen to the 10-minute interview here.
