- The RAND Corporation is a research organization that develops solutions to public policy challenges to help make communities throughout the world safer and more secure, healthier and more prosperous. Internships in policy, computer science, physics, engineering and math, and sociology are specifically targeting individuals who have completed the first two years of their Ph.D. program. The internships are paid, and the work will be accomplished remotely (online).
- Postdoctoral position in wave energy conversion for coastal protection, funded by the Australian Research Council. Application due by Nov. 26,2021. Applicants must address the key selection criteria in the position description available at this link, which also includes full PD and how to apply.
- The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration and the Pacific Marine Environmental Laboratory have three internship opportunities for undergraduate and graduate students. PMEL is the NOAA analogue to a Department of Energy national laboratory and does a lot of exciting ocean observations and instrumentation development.
