Governor Declares Alaska Clean Energy Week, Sept. 26-30, 2022
Alaska Gov. Mike Dunleavy has declared Sept. 26-30, 2022, Alaska Clean Energy Week.
Alaska Clean Energy Week “encourages all Alaskans, local governments, corporations, and small businesses to support common sense solutions to address the United States’ evolving economic and energy needs and tap into Alaska’s limitless potential to develop clean, sustainable energy solutions for our future,” according to the governor's proclamation.
The proclamation cites “Alaska’s abundance of renewable and clean energy sources, including natural gas, geothermal, wind, tidal, hydro, and solar…” as attributes that can make the state a leader in energy independence.
