Join ArcticX Summit: Committing to a Sustainable Arctic
The one-day ArcticX Summit, “North to the Future of Energy: Committing to a Sustainable Arctic,” is inspired by Alaskans who have laid the foundation for a clean energy transition by installing solar and wind in remote villages, by mentoring entrepreneurs to bring their energy technology ideas to market, and by advocating for a more equitable and affordable energy future.
Join the event on Monday, May 23, 2022, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The summit isco-hosted by two U.S. Department of Energy offices — the Office of Technology Transitions and the Arctic Energy Office. It will feature Alaska leaders, DOE national lab researchers and energy industry pioneers discussing:
-
Bipartisan Infrastructure Law funding
-
Case studies in technology commercialization in the Arctic
-
Carbon management in the Arctic
-
Green shipping corridors
-
Nuclear energy
-
Climate monitoring
-
Renewable deployment and grid modernization
