Rural Partners Network to Strengthen Community Scale Bioenergy Development

The U.S. Department of Energy Bioenergy Technologies Office is working to award up to $5 million to support the development of community-centered demonstration projects and business plans to recover energy from organic waste streams, including food waste, municipal wastewater sludge, animal manure, and fats, oils and greases.

Only community-led or associated organizations are eligible to be the prime recipients on selected projects. Find out more about these opportunities in the White House Rural Partner Network fact sheet.
