CCHRC Offers Free Online Energy Classes

The Cold Climate Housing Research Center is offering a series of free online classes in April on energy efficiency, air source heat pumps and solar energy in Alaska. The classes will be taught by local experts and cover the basics of how the technologies work, what to consider before installing them and where to learn more. The classes target both homeowners and professionals, with continuing education credit available for contractors and realtors. 

  • Ductless Heat Pumps and Energy Efficiency for Homeowners and Builders - April 5, 5:30-7:30 p.m.

  • Ductless Heat Pumps for Realtors  - April 7, 9-10 a.m.

  • Solar Photovoltaic Systems for Homeowners - April 12, 5:30-7:30 p.m.

All classes will be hosted on Zoom.
