Come join the Pacific Marine Energy Center and Alaska Hydrokinetic Research Center team at ACEP this summer as a full-time lab and field research assistant. 

AHERC focuses on applied research and engineering to help communities, developers and other stakeholders address the questions of whether emerginghydrokinetic energy technologies are economically, technologically and environmentally sustainable.

The hired person will be hands on and have a blend of both field and lab/shop work. The Fairbanks-based position will primarily be based in the hydrokinetic bay of the Energy Technology Facility. The position will involve hands-on work in a lab/shop setting as well as in field locations such as the Tanana River Test Site in Nenana.
