New Prize Competition to Advance Net-Load Forecasting

Probabilistic net-load forecasting is a powerful tool that can help utilities securely and reliably integrate large amounts of energy resources into the grid. A new $600,000 American-Made Net Load Forecasting Prize is open to organizations with solutions to make net-load forecasting efforts more accurate, allowing for more cost-efficient planning and dispatch of energy generation and storage. Interested teams are invited to join an informational webinar on Feb. 20 at 11 a.m. to learn about deadlines, eligibility and more.
