Hello! I am Hazel, a UAF sophomore from Fairbanks, Alaska, and I am studying political science in order to fulfill my dream of becoming a Foreign Service Officer. I chose to study at UAF because I wanted to experience my hometown from a new perspective and meet students from around the world who are just as passionate as me about the outdoors. This year I have seized the opportunity to study in Dubrovnik, Croatia, through the UAF Study Away program, and it has been a blast.
