Faculty information

UAF will celebrate commencement on Saturday, April 30, 2022, at the Carlson Center in Fairbanks. To safely celebrate, we’ll hold two short, student-centered ceremonies. Seating is limited this year, so students must confirm their attendance at the ceremony via RSVP form by March 18, 2022. The ceremony will be limited to students and their ticketed guests. Students will receive up to four tickets for guests. Diplomas will be mailed to graduates a few weeks after the ceremony.

This year’s graduation application deadlines come early:

  • Early graduation application deadline has been extended to Feb. 6. Apply early! The graduation application fee is $50.
  • After that, the fee rises to $80. March 1 is the final deadline.

How faculty can participate

The faculty is invited to watch the event and support students. This year, they will have a section within the Carlson Center above the prow on the east side of the building. As the ceremony comes to a close, faculty are welcome to form a gauntlet on the lawn to congratulate graduates as they exit the facility.

Faculty may want to RSVP with their college or school. See below for the breakdown.
