Seating & accessibility

Seating

Due to the COVID-19 safety “Green” status in the Fairbanks North Star Borough, the university is able to provide open guest seating at the Carlson Center for the 2022 commencement ceremonies, rather than ticketed seating. Open seating will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. This means your guests should arrive one hour before the ceremony starts and choose their seats.

Seating may still be limited due to safety precautions. Please invite the number of guests indicated on your RSVP form. Online streaming of the event will be available and encouraged for guests not attending in-person. The link will be provided on the commencement website closer to the event.

Changes to the COVID-19 safety status in the Fairbanks North Star Borough may result in a change to the availability of open seating.
