Apply now for URSA Mentor Awards

The office of Undergraduate Research and Scholarly Activity is now accepting applications
from full-time UAF faculty members, postdoctoral researchers and graduate students
from all disciplines and campuses for awards of up to $5,000 for undergraduate research
and scholarly activity learning opportunities.
This funding may be used for undergraduate student fellowships, travel, supplies or
services. Mentor salary is not available with this award. Mentors may request up to
$1,000 for their travel to accompany students with justification. All funds must be
spent no later than June 30, 2019.
An individual may only submit one application and may only receive two URSA Mentor
Awards in any three-year period. This policy will allow for a greater number of individuals
to receive awards from URSA's limited funds.
The deadline to apply is Sunday, Oct. 14, 2018, at 11:59 p.m.
