Several departments moving to Lathrop Hall
September 30, 2019
As part of UAF’s effort to reduce its footprint, several departments will be moving
to Lathrop Hall, which was recently converted from a residential building to office
use. Departmental moves will begin this week and continue through the end of October.
Week of Sept. 30
- Development will move from CTC to the second floor of Lathrop.
- K-12 Outreach will move from Butrovich to the fifth floor of Lathrop.
Week of Oct. 7
- Planning, Analysis and Institutional Research will move from the Administrative Services Center, or ASC, on College Road to the second floor of Lathrop.
- Associate Vice Chancellor for Financial Services will move from ASC to the third floor of Lathrop.
- Office of Management and Budget will move from ASC to the fourth floor of Lathrop.
Week of Oct. 21
- Office of Finance and Accounting, which includes travel and accounts payable, will move from ASC to the third floor of Lathrop.
Each departmental move may take several days, and response times may be delayed during the transition. Departmental phone, fax and PO box numbers will not change. ADA and vendor parking will be available next to the building. These parking spots are accessible via Denali Way, which is one-way street from Wickersham Hall toward the Patty Center.
Human Resources is now operating out of Butrovich 212. Procurement and Contract Services will move from ASC to Butrovich later this fall.
UAF has received Board of Regents approval to sell the Administrative Services building and will list the building for sale when the departmental moves are complete.
