The Office of Undergraduate Research and Scholarly Activity, or URSA, is offering up to $2,500 for research or creative projects during the 2020 spring semester.

Degree undergraduate students taking at least 6 credits are invited to apply. Students can be in any year, from any major. Projects do not need to be in the student's degree program. Funds can be used for a stipend, travel, tuition and supplies.

Students need an idea and a faculty or graduate student mentor. URSA can help connect students, discuss ideas and answer questions. URSA also allows students to look at successfully funded project applications. Interested students should contact URSA at 450-8772 or ursa.uaf@alaska.edu.

Apply online by Sunday, Nov. 10.
