The Office of the Chancellor notified the UAF campus community of the newly updated
Events Policy on October 13th, 2020.
Off-campus, in-person RSO activities will be subject to an updated approval process
through the SLI Office beginning Tuesday, January 19th, 2021. On-campus events or
meetings are limited to those that are defined in the Events Policy 04.06.200 as "Lowest
risk" and "More-risk" events. "More-risk" events or meetings held on-campus must be
approved through the SLI Office and are limited to designated space within the Wood
Center. Off-campus meetings that are limited to 25 attendees or fewer are now permissible.
However, these meetings must remain in compliance with "More-risk" events and the
responsibilities included in the Events Policy. Requests for both on-campus and off-campus events for currently active RSOs must be
made using the RSO Meeting Request Form accessed hereand must include the required mitigation plan.
The Wood Center Scheduling Office is also currently accepting requests for tabling

Residence Life is now accepting requests for use of the Hess Rec for RSO activities.
