Education & Public Programs offers a wide array of activities and resources for teachers, students, families, community members and visitors of all ages and backgrounds. We offer opportunities to learn from and be inspired by diverse museum collections and related research. Through collaboration with UAF departments and community members, we are proud to connect the public with Alaska's science, arts, history,  and cultures. Join us during weekly hands-on family programs, learn about our school field trip opportunities, spend a night in the museum, attend a workshop, check out an object-based kit, and much more!

In addition to other grantors and donors, Museum Education & Public Programs work is supported in part by a grant from the Alaska Humanities Forum and the National Endowment for the Humanities, a federal agency. Any views, findings, conclusions orrecommendations expressed do not necessarily represent those of the National Endowment forthe Humanities.
