Discover and create
Explore a different theme every month! Discover science, culture, and art through interactive investigations, hands-on exploration and crafts. Our activities are designed to stimulate curiosity and encourage multigenerational collaboration. Drop in to the Creativity Lab during program times and enjoy an experience together. NEW! TEEN STUDIO (ages 13-18): Select Saturdays, 2 pm-3:30 pm
EARLY EXPLORERS (ages 5 and under, with adult): Every Friday, 10 am-noon
JUNIOR CURATORS (ages 6 and up, with adult): One Saturday per month, 2 pm-4 pm

Celebrate your birthday at the museum
Looking for a unique birthday party? Does your child like to explore, make art, and experiment with science? Come celebrate at the UA Museum of the North! UAMN birthday parties are designed for children between 5 and 11 years old.

Spend a night at the museum
Join us for after-hours special activities and night time gallery explorations. Create, explore, and sleep among the exhibits. An evening snack and light breakfast are provided.

Special exhibits explore a variety of subjects. Interactive elements make exhibits enjoyable for the whole family. Special programming around the exhibit themes is developed every year for families.

Our Family Room is a place for children and adults to be curious and feel at home. Collection-based touchable materials, toys, puzzles, and books encourage quiet investigation and intergenerational discovery time. The Family Room offers a low-stress environment for all ages to explore and relax.
