Events at the Museum

The museum offers a variety of events and programs, available to visitors and community members.

Only visiting for a day? Consider one of our popular movies Dynamic Aurora, Arctic Currents: A Year in the Life of a Bowhead Whale, or Expedition Alaska: Dinosaurs, which were produced in-house. In the summer, we offer special behind-the-scenes tours on Fridays at noon.

If you are a part of the Fairbanks community, check our UAMN Calendar frequently, which features hands-on programs for both children and adults, and what's new in exhibits and community events, such as Halloween at the Museum and Open House.

We book private events for those interested in exclusive, after-hours use of the museum lobby, galleries, and auditorium.
