BIO

Alora Greer is a data engineer at ACEP, focusing on data integration, data pipeline architecture and web development. While pursuing her degree in computer science, she worked at ACEP on a spatial data project with QGIS and seamlessly transitioned from web development to data engineering. At ACEP, Greer plays a crucial role in implementing robust data pipelines and strategic data collection methods, ensuring vital data is efficiently processed and accessible to key decision makers.

Greer holds a B.S. in computer science from UAA. Her professional journey began at Kartorium, a pioneering digital twin platform in Anchorage, Alaska, through the UAF Center for Innovation, Commercialization, and Entrepreneurship’s Students2Startups summer internship program. During the internship Greer honed her web development skills, laying the groundwork for her subsequent focus on data engineering.

Greer is dedicated to developing systems that are effective today and scalable for the future. Her journey is fueled by a commitment to leveraging technology for innovation, teamwork and excellence in project execution.
