Webinar to discuss benefits of insulating technology

Flyer for webinarACEP’s Kaarle Strailey will talk about vacuum insulated panels, or VIPs, at an upcoming virtual webinar.

VIPs offer much higher R-value than common insulation materials. Strailey will cover how they provide exceptional insulation and potential energy savings and how they have been used in buildings around the world, including results from Alaska. He will also talk about challenges and considerations with their application in buildings and discuss new developments in active vacuum insulation to address many of these challenges. Specifically, Strailey will discuss the construction of an active vacuum insulated building envelope that was field tested earlier this winter in Palmer.
