Cassino Promoted to Assistant to Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs

Last week, ACEP congratulated business manager Marcia Cassino on her recent promotion to a new position as the assistant to Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs Keith Champagne.

Marcia was instrumental in ACEP’s growth over the past six years. Starting as a program assistant in 2013, Marcia quickly became a prominent figure behind the scenes in all ACEP events and the go-to person for any and all research and program support.

In 2018, Marcia was promoted to ACEP's business manager. Her organization skills, cheerful disposition and attention to detail make Marcia an easy and productive person to work with. These skills served her well at ACEP, and we expect they will help quickly make her an integral member of the vice chancellor's staff.

We congratulate Marcia for her promotion. This new position is a great opportunity to advance her career and gives her a chance to become more involved with students and the academic side of UAF both of which she is passionate about.
