Students are invited to present a poster, and free poster printing (4 ft wide x 3 ft tall)
will be offered with early registration. If you already have a printed poster that
you would like to present, we will accommodate any poster size. The event is free
and open to any UAF student (undergraduate or graduate) who has done research pertaining to the broad field of Earth System Science, including marine sciences,
fisheries, space physics, sustainability, ecosystems, hydrology, atmospheric and climate
sciences, cryosphere, solid earth geophysics, geoscience, geospatial science, and
more.

Come tour the Permafrost Tunnel - view permafrost - ice wedges - ice lenses - other
permafrost features - bones from the Pleistocene Epoch: bison, mammoth, horses.

Note to Foreign Nationals: Foreign nationals need to submit additional forms which could take 30 days. We urge
foreign nationals to register for the conference quickly and sign up for the field
trip quickly if they would like to attend.

Submit Abstracts
We welcome abstracts for oral and poster presentations at the conference. Awards
will be given for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place posters. Student awards will also be given
out for oral presentations. Notification of acceptance or rejection will be made by
March 21, 2026.
Oral presentations should be around 20 minutes in length with an anticipated 5 minutes
for Q&A.
Abstract will be collected during registration OR after registration through agstechconference@gmail.com . No guaranteed presentation spot without registration.
