2022 Research and Creative Activity Days

URSA's Research and Creative Activity Days is a yearly event that welcomes undergraduate
students to join and present research and creative projects to the rest of the UAF community.
Usually an in-person gathering every April, in 2022 that event will be virtual and
held through the Zoom platform like in 2021.

April 5-6 will consist of multiple poster sessions on Zoom (see program below), followed by an Award Ceremony on April 7 when the Deans will announce the winners for their respective colleges/schools.
- The event is open to ALL undergraduates, from all departments and disciplines, whether funded by URSA or not.
- GET A CHANCE TO WIN A $500 SCHOLARSHIP!
All presenting students will be entered into a draw for two $500 scholarship prizes. Winners will be announced at the Award Ceremony on April 7.
Poster Sessions:
- This webpage displays links to colleges respective poster sessions, which offers access
to their list of presenting students, posters, presentation recordings, and Zoom meeting
links.
- For each poster session, the presenting students will simultaneously run their respective
Zoom meetings for 1.5h.
- Attendees and judges will go from one presentation to the next to meet the students, just like an in-person poster session, by clicking the Zoom links on the webpages.
Award Ceremony:
- This will be a Zoom webinar, for which a link will be send to all attendees a few
days ahead of the event. There will also be an access button on the 2022 RCA Days
homepage.
- The award ceremony is mandatory for all award recipients, whom will be notified the evening of April 6, once the Deans have all turned in their selections.
