Annual Scholarship Breakfast

Annual Scholarship Breakfast

During the 2018 UAF Scholarship Breakfast on April 24, UAF students, donors and faculty gathered in the Wood Center Carol Brown Ballroom to celebrate the connection between donor generosity and student success. Lisa Herbert, vice president of public relations and executive director at The Usibelli Foundation, emceed the event and introduced Chancellor Dan White, student speakers Abbey VandenBerg and Esau Sinnok, and Professor Mary Ehrlander.

On average, UAF students receive more than $1.2 million dollars from more than 475 privately funded scholarships every year.

UAF tuition ranges from nearly $8,000 per year in-state to $30,000 per year out-of-state, depending on course level. The support of many generous donors helps ensure UAF students are able to focus on their studies, rather than their ability to afford tuition or accrue debt.
