Felicia is a lifelong Alaskan who was born and raised in Fairbanks. She is a proud
UAF alum who holds a B.A. in communication and is passionate about promoting awareness
of Nanook Nation and all things UAF, while engaging the Fairbanks community as a partner.
She has worked at UAF for nearly 18 years, most recently as the program coordinator
for the Graduate School and Interdisciplinary Studies. Before that, she spent eight
years as office coordinator for Summer Sessions and Lifelong Learning. She still volunteers
as the emcee for the popular Music in the Garden summer performance series. Her university
experience includes human resources, administrative support, fiscal management, project
management and student services.
Felicia is an avid supporter of Nanook athletics and can be seen enthusiastically
cheering on the ’Nooks at most home games and meets.
She likes to travel with her daughter, a critical care nurse in Minnesota. They try
to ride horses wherever their adventures take them. So far, their favorite location
is Iceland. Felicia enjoys her free time walking her Morkies, Tula and Iris.
