UAF Vet Med Excused Absence Request Form 2024-2025: Excused absence requests are only necessary when a student will be missing a required lab, recitation, or exam. In accordance with the DVM attendance policy, you do not need to request an excused absence for simply missing a lecture, unless in-person attendance is specifically required per the syllabus. Excused absences must fall into the category of legitimate reasons, per CSU's attendance policy (examples listed on the form). If the reason does not fall into that category, the absence will not be excused and the form is unnecessary.
