Six Easy Steps to Become a Student

Step 1: Apply for Admission

Apply for a degree program or take a class for personal enrichment.

Step 2: Apply for Financial Aid

UAF offers financial aid options including scholarships, grants, loans, and Work-Study.

Step 3: Take Placement Tests

Placements measure current skill level to ensure you register for the right courses.

Step 4: Talk to an Advisor

Our advisors are equipped to answer all of your questions.

Step 5: Register for Classes

Register as part of a degree program or take a class for personal enrichment.

Step 6: Pay for Classes

Choose from options to pay online or in-person--whichever you prefer works for us!

You choose the delivery method you prefer--online and face-to-face orientation sessions are available!
